January 6 – Simple Striped Scarf

If the title were hand in hand with this pattern, I would have the picture of a scarf to show you. Instead I have 2 different beginnings with nothing like a scarf results.

January 5 – Shoulder Bag

As in the last post, this pattern is also a bust!

The pattern does not account for increases when working an oval base for the bag.

If you follow the instructions of the author, this is the shape you will have at 5 in; 2.5 per side as the piece starts to naturally fold:

January 4 – Winter Hand Warmers

My frustration continues as I discover more errors in the book 365 Days of Crochet. You will only find cons for this project.

Cons:

For this pattern, the author requests that you start with a chain measuring 3.5 in.  Then build from there a rectangle that reaches the desired height to cover a good part of your fingers.

January 3 – Super Easy Granny Poncho – Part 2

Well, as mentioned in my last post. it was not fun having to unravel the first few rows of my granny square.

It measured 44″ x 44″

I only removed the first 4 rows by cutting into the material.
